Dead Fantasy - Gee is a music video created by Monty Oum, featuring various Final Fantasy and Dead or Alive female characters from his Dead Fantasy series. It is the second music video spin-off in the series, following Dead Fantasy - Obsessed.
Released on Oum's official YouTube channel on April 16, 2010, the video features Yuna, Kasumi, Ayane, Rikku, Hitomi, Tifa Lockhart, Rinoa Heartilly, Cissnei, and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts singing and dancing to the 2009 single Gee by the Korean-pop girl group, Girls' Generation.
Overview[]
Dead Fantasy - Gee features the nine girls in a large white room/space, performing the full dance routine from the original Girls' Generation music video. They are wearing more casual outfits or various uniforms that they don't wear in the main Dead Fantasy series.
Each of the girls have been placed in a role of a member of Girls' Generation, and are lip-synced to said member's singing parts in the song. The roles are:

- Cissnei - Hwang Tiffany
- Hitomi - Kim Hyoyeon
- Kairi - Jung Jessica
- Kasumi - Im Yoona
- Rikku - Lee "Sunny" Soon-kyu
- Rinoa Heartilly - Kwon Yuri
- Tifa Lockhart - Joo Seohyun
- Yuna - Kim Taeyeon
Oum got the idea for Dead Fantasy - Gee when he first released Dead Fantasy II, which features the first nine female characters of the series. As Girls' Generation is a all-girl nine-member group, he felt that it fit well and assigned roles to each girl from Dead Fantasy II; save for Rachel, who he replaced with Cissnei.
He also expressed wanting to add a intro to the video, in which he had fallen asleep in front of his computer while working on a Dead Fantasy episode, and the girls on screen come to life and start dancing. However, he didn't add the intro due to lack of time.

Background[]
Gee is a fast-tempo song about a girl who has fallen in love for the first time. The title is supposed to be an exclamation of surprise, similar to "어머나!", "Eomeona!", which is similar in meaning to "Oh, my goodness!" or "Gee!" in English.
It was released on online music sites on January 5, 2009, with a physical release on January 7. It quickly went to #1 on various charts and eventually set a record for longest-running #1 on KBS's music chart show Music Bank, staying at that position for 9 weeks.

- This video makes the second appearence of Cissnei in the Dead Fantasy series, although she has yet to appear in the official episodes. She has only appeared in Obsessed and Gee.
